GNUstep is designed both to be easily portable to different operating systems and hardware architectures, and to enable you to develop software which will, without modification, run on all those systems. In general you can expect it to run on any UNIX like system, as well as on Windows. Contributions to port to new systems are always welcome (and usually porting effort is small because the code is already so portable).
